Associate Pastor / Youth Director

The Associate Pastor/Youth Director aids the Senior Pastor in various church functions – including preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and ministry leadership.  This position will also oversee specific areas such as the youth ministry, outreach, discipleship, while supporting the overall vision and mission of the church.  If you’d like to view a more detailed version of the job description – CLICK HERE.

Youth Program Management

• Oversight and organization of Youth Ministry, including budget, leadership in Worship services as needed, executing ministry programs and parent and community engagement

Preaching and Teaching

• In addition to leadership of Bible Studies and developing teaching materials, the candidate may be asked to preach and teach in the absence of the Senior Pastor

Pastoral Care

• Provide spiritual guidance, counseling and support to church and community as needed

Staff and Volunteer Management

• Recruit, support and mentor youth, staff and volunteers

Church Outreach and Engagement

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to attract new members, retain existing members and engage the community

Collaboration and Support

• Work closely with the Senior Pastor and other staff to ensure the smooth operation of the church and achievement of its goals

Administrative Duties

• Assist with administrative tasks including event planning, communication and financial management
