Pastor of Worship Ministries

FBCTV is a vibrant, active church and quite unique in that the membership consists of believers from multiple denominational backgrounds.  We are situated in a premiere retirement community hence we have few young couples or children in the congregation.  FBCTV is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and aligns with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. FBCTV is a congregational church, led by an Elder Team which includes our Lead Pastor and Associate Pastor of Discipleship.

Our mission statement is Love God, Love Others, and Reach Our World for Christ, and this is what we are striving to do as we seek to live “in the moment, on the mission, for the Master, 24/7/365.” We are strategically training our body of believers to reach the people in the communities around us by equipping them to be “disciples who make disciples.” God is gathering an incredible congregation with this commitment.

This position is responsible for providing leadership in our worship ministries, including praise team, instrumentalists, and production team. The position’s focus is to lead a worship service filled with passionate praise, while blending contemporary Christian music with the great hymns of the faith.

• Must possess a vibrant and solid Christian faith with continued growth in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit in all ministry pursuits.
• Able to lead Sunday morning worship services including praise team, instrumentalists, and production team.
• Must have a proven work ethic, successful leadership skills, and a solid theological foundational understanding of God’s word.
• Able to work with pastoral team to plan, select, organize, practice, and execute a worship script in conjunction with the Sunday sermon and/or the Bible focus.
• Have a heart to work with and disciple a predominately older congregation.
• Besides worship responsibilities, there will be an expectation of additional ministry responsibilities to help complement our current pastoral staff.
