About the Laurel, MS Community

Laurel is a historic and close-knit community in South Mississippi. It has the benefits of small-town life with strong relationships, hospitality, slower pace of life, and a genuine sense of community. At the same time, Laurel is experiencing an exciting season of renewal, with a revitalized downtown, growing tourism, new restaurants and small businesses largely because of HGTV’s show “Home Town”. FBC Laurel has been a part of this community since 1884. This kind of longevity has given the church a remarkable opportunity to serve the people of Jones County and share the hope of Christ.
